DESCRIPTION
Araldite Tile Adhesive, is a three-component system based on Araldite epoxy resin.
Each component is factory weighed and packaged ready for on site mixing.

CAUTION
Keep uncured epoxy materials away from the mouth, food or drink.
Do not use empty tins to store food even if they appear to have been cleaned.
Always wear gloves or barrier cream when handling uncured epoxy materials. Clean any splashes or smears from the skin immediately using warm water and soap.
Avoid inhaling vapour.
Do not use below 59 C.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PREPARATION
The substrate must be clean, solid and dry.
Fresh concrete should be over 28 days old with a surface moisture content below 5 %.
Laitence should be removed by acid etching, or mechanical means. All debris should then be removed and the floor left to dry.
Surfaces contaminated with oil or grease should be flame cleaned or thoroughly washed with a good detergent followed by clean water and left to dry.

MIXING
Mechanical mixing of resin based materials is preferred whenever possible, mixers running at less than 400 rpm are recommended.

APPLICATION
Araldite Tile Adhesive is supplied as three pre-weighed packs in exact proportions. No other materials should be added.
STIR CONTENTS OF EACH TIN THOROUGHLY. Pour the entire contents of the hardener into the resin and mix until uniform. Add the filler slowly while mixing. Continue to mix until a smooth even paste is achieved. Apply the bonding mortar with a trowel, then spread and level with a saw edged spatula. Now press the tiles gently into the mortar bedding. When tiling vertical surfaces insert wooden wedges into the joints to hold the tiles in position. Level tiles with a leveling bar and leave to harden.

CLEANING DOWN
Uncured epoxy resin may be cleaned from tools and other surfaces using warm water and a sponge.

CURING
The bonding mortar will support light foot traffic at 24 hours. Working strength is achieved after 7 days.

Araldite Tile Adhesive
5 kg pack covers 2-3 m2 depending on thickness applied.

STORAGE
Shelf life of 12 months minimum if stored below 25a C.
